As a Canadian Hero, you can add both a CAD and/or a USD bank account, with one account per currency. If needed, you have the option to replace a bank account at any time.
The bank accounts you link will determine how your payments are processed and will be paid out to you, as well as when currency conversions occur.
For example, if you only add a CAD bank account, all transactions will be deposited into your CAD balance, and transactions that are non-CAD will be converted to CAD. By adding a USD bank account in addition to your CAD account, USD transactions will be directly deposited into your USD balance, avoiding conversion to CAD
Business Type and Structure
When onboarding with Kajabi Payments Heroes in Canada have three options for your Business Type. You can onboard as an Individual/Sole Proprietorship, Company, or Non-profit. Below are the details for each option:
Individual/sole proprietorship
An Individual or Sole Proprietorship is an unincorporated business that is owned by one individual. The owner of a sole proprietorship has sole responsibility for making decisions, receives all the profits, claims all losses, and does not have separate legal status from the business.
If you are an individual or sole proprietor you should select “individual or sole proprietorship / Particulier ou entreprise” as the “Type of business” during onboarding.
Company
Heroes onboarding as a “Company” have two options: Corporation or Partnership.
Corporation: A corporation is a separate legal entity that can enter contracts, own property, and operate independently from its owners. Owners contribute money, property, or services in exchange for shares.
