Kajabi can encode and display many common video formats (see the list below), but for the most consistent performance, we recommend uploading files in the MP4 format.
Note: The maximum file size for video uploads is 4GB. If your video file size is larger than 4GB use a video file compression tool such as Handbrake.
For best performance, we recommend you aim to have your videos fall within these guidelines:
  • Resolution: between 640px and 3840px (4K) wide
  • Bitrate: 5,000 - 10,000 kbps
  • Aspect ratio: 16:9 (i.e., 1080px x 1920px)
We recommend adhering to 1080p and 5,000 - 10,000 kbps as the max settings for upload, as it will reduce the likeliness of upload errors.
Note: We do not limit your streaming bandwidth.
