A Text Block holds the written content on your page: headlines, descriptions, offers, and links. Use it to tell visitors what you offer, why it matters, and what to do next.
Note: These steps cover the page editor for the Website Builder and Kajabi Pages. If you use a Premier Legacy Template, go to Add a text section with a Premier Legacy Template.
Add a Text Block to a Section
From the Dashboard, click on Website.
Click on Website Pages or Landing Pages.
Open the page editor for the page you want to edit. Learn how to open the page editor.
Click the section you want to edit, or create a new Section.
In the sidebar, click Add block.
Select Text from the list. Kajabi adds the Text Block at the bottom of the Section.
Click Save to keep your changes.

In the sidebar Text Editor, you have the ability to customize multiple features of your Text content.
Cofounder
Use Cofounder to help generate text content for your page. Click the Cofounder icon in the text editor sidebar to open Cofounder. Learn more about Cofounder.
Source code
Access your Text source code to manually modify the HTML code for your page:
Warning: If you're not familiar with editing source code, avoid this feature or ask a professional developer to guide you through it.
Text formats
Adjust the Format settings to change how your Text looks:
Select a Heading Size to change the font size of highlighted Text. Use this with the Style Guide Font Sizes in your Page Settings.
Select an Inline setting to change the Text appearance (for example, Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough, Superscript, Subscript, and Code).
Select a Blocks option to change how highlighted Text is structured (for example, Paragraph, Blockquote, Div, and Pre).
Select an Alignment for highlighted Text (Left, Center, Right, or Justify).

Make highlighted Text bold, italic, or strikethrough:
Text color
Highlight part of your Text, or all of it, to change its color:
Horizontal line
Insert a horizontal line to break up your Text:
Lists
Format your Text as an ordered or unordered list:
Clear formatting
Highlight your Text and click Clear Formatting to remove all applied formatting:
Tip: Pasting content from an external source, like a Word document? Click Clear Formatting to remove any unwanted formatting that came along with your Text.
Text indentation
Increase or decrease the indentation of your Text:
Hyperlink
Insert a clickable link in your Text to lead visitors to another web page or a section of your page:
When you create a link, the editor prompts you to enter:
The full URL of the page you want to link to (example: https://kajabi.com)
The Text to display with the link formatting applied
The title of your link
The Target: New Window opens the link in a new browser window, and None opens it in the current browser window
Fullscreen mode
Click Fullscreen to maximize the text editor for easier editing, then click it again to return the editor to the sidebar:

To adjust the look and feel of the Block, customize your Block Settings:

Add a Call to Action (CTA) button to your Text Block to lead visitors to their next step. Choose to:
Go to a Landing Page
Go to a Checkout Page
Download a file
Go to a URL
Open two step optin popup
Go to a section on this page

Note: When using the Go to a URL action, be sure to enter a full URL (example: https://kajabi.com).
Typography
Enable Drop Cap: Enlarges the first letter of the first paragraph in your Text.
Drop Cap Color: Assigns a color to that enlarged first letter.
Add a text section with a Premier Legacy Template
On a page built with a Premier Legacy Template, you add text with a Text Section instead of a Text Block. Use it to communicate with your visitors, market your content, and describe your value.
Note: Premier Legacy Templates may be outdated. If your page uses a Kajabi Pages template, follow the steps in Add a Text Block to a Section instead.
Add a Text Section
From the Dashboard, click Website, then Pages.
Locate the Page you want to customize, or create a new Page.
Open the page editor for your Page. Learn how to open the page editor.
In the sidebar, click + Add Section.
Select Text to preview it.
Click Add to add the Text Section to your Page.
Customize a Text Section
In a Text Section, enter a Heading and Subheading, format your Text content, edit the Section appearance, and add a Call to Action.
The Text Section editor has the same tools as the Text Block editor: source code, formats, color, horizontal line, lists, indentation, hyperlinks, and Fullscreen mode. Learn how each one works in Text editor. In a Text Section, the link tool is labeled Insert/Edit a link.

Change the appearance of your Text Section with the:
Background and Text Color
Text Alignment
Spacing
Call to action in a Text Section
Add a Call to Action (CTA) to encourage visitors to act on your Text content. Click Add Call To Action to create and edit your CTA button.
