Pages are what visitors see first on your Kajabi site, so the type you choose shapes what they do next. Kajabi has three: Website Pages, Landing Pages, and Funnel Pages.
From the Dashboard, open Website for an overview of all three. Use this guide to pick the right type and add it.
Choose a page type
Website Pages make up your site. A Website is a homepage plus other pages linked together with a navigation menu, and every Website Page shares the same Header and Footer settings.
Landing Pages are one-off pages for opt-ins, sales pages, thank you pages, and more. Think of them as separate pages on your site that visitors can land on. They don't share Header and Footer settings.
Funnel Pages guide visitors through a sequence, from an opt-in page to the content they receive afterward.
With Kajabi's latest updates to the Website Builder, you can create custom Website Pages and build out your standard Website Pages. Learn how to build a website with Kajabi.
Note: This guide covers Kajabi Pages templates. If you use Premier Legacy templates, see the guide for Premier.
Access your pages
From the Dashboard, click Website.
Click Website Pages or Landing Pages.
Select the Website, Landing, or Funnels tab to switch between page types.
Website Pages
Website Pages are the foundational pages Kajabi generates from your template. When you build your site, Kajabi creates a set of Website Pages for the essentials of an online business, and every Website Page shares your template's Header and Footer along with site settings such as branding, color palette, and instructor info.
You can also create custom Website Pages when you need more than the defaults.
Tip: Website Pages all share the same Header and Footer settings, whereas Landing Pages do not. Keep this in mind when choosing which type of page to build.
Create a Website Page
From the Dashboard, open the Website tab, then select Website Pages.
In the top right corner, click + New Website Page.
Enter a page name in the Name field. Kajabi applies your template, including the Header and Footer, to the page.
Click Customize Page to generate your Website Page and begin customizing.
Landing Pages
Landing Pages are standalone pages you can use anywhere. Link them to your site through navigation menus, or keep them separate and drive traffic to them from marketing emails, events, automations, and social media. Because each Landing Page is created independently, each one can use its own template.
Use Landing Pages to:
Encourage opt-ins to grow your list
Build custom homepages
Display video players
Create sales pages for your digital products or individual Offers
Create an online store for physical products
Design custom about us pages
Build waitlist pages and custom thank you pages
Promote sales and other offers
Kajabi provides streamlined templates and premium-designed templates to help you get started. The default images in your selected template are stock images and are free to use.
Create a Landing Page
From the Dashboard, open the Website tab, then select Landing Pages.
In the top right corner, click + New Landing Page.
Select the template that best fits your vision.
Click Get started.
Enter your page title.
Click Create to generate your Landing Page and begin customizing.

After you create your page, customize the design to fit your brand and business.
Note: The title you enter becomes part of the page URL. If a published Landing Page shares a URL with a Website system page, visitors are routed to the Website Page instead, so update the Landing Page URL to fix this. Learn to customize your page details to update your page title and URL.
Funnel pages
Funnel Pages are Landing Pages built into your marketing Funnels. Funnels attract visitors to an opt-in page, capture their information, and then deliver content. They work well for marketing webinars, offering a free download, or guiding visitors through a sales presentation.
You create Funnels in the Marketing section of the Dashboard. Each time you generate a Funnel, its pages appear in the Funnels tab of your Pages, organized by Funnel.
Add a page to a Funnel
From the Dashboard, open the Marketing tab, then select Funnels.
Select the Funnel you want to edit.
Hover your cursor between your existing pages.
Select + Add Page.
Select New Landing Page and click Next.
Choose a Page Type and click Next.
Choose your Page Style and click Next.
Enter your Page Name.
Click Save to generate your Funnel Page.
Customize page settings
After you select a template, set up your page settings before you design the page. These settings prepare your page for your content.
Favicon: the image shown in your visitor's browser tab, for a more polished look
Style Guide: your page colors, fonts, font colors, and font sizes
Design Tools: a 12-column grid overlay that helps you lay out your design
Custom Code: custom HTML, CSS, or JavaScript for your page. If you are not familiar with CSS or JavaScript, skip this setting or contact Kajabi Support for guidance
Exit Popups: a popup that appears when a visitor tries to leave your page
Two-Step Optin: an opt-in form popup that opens when a visitor clicks a button
Once your settings are in place, customize your Header and Footer to showcase your brand and business.
Preview a page
A preview shows your page the way it will look before you publish it, so you can check the design and content. Open a preview from your page list or from the page editor.
Preview a page from the page list
From the Dashboard, click Website, then select Website Pages or Landing Pages.
Locate the page you want to preview.
Click the Preview icon (an eye) next to the page.
Preview a page in the page editor
From the Dashboard, click Website, then select Website Pages or Landing Pages.
Locate the page you want to preview and click Customize.
In the top bar of the editor, click Preview.
Tip: To check how your page looks on other screens, use the bar at the bottom of the editor to switch between Desktop, Mobile, Tablet H, and Tablet V.
Test a page as a visitor
A preview shows your page with your admin access, so it can differ from what visitors see. To see the page the way visitors do, open its URL in a different browser or in an incognito or private window where you're not logged in to Kajabi as an admin.
Publish or draft a page
Page visibility controls who can see a page. A Published page is visible to anyone. A Draft page is visible only to you, so you can customize it privately and publish when you're ready.
Default visibility for new pages
A new Landing Page starts as Draft, and so does a duplicate of any page. A new Website Page is Published as soon as you create it, so switch it to Draft if you want to customize it before visitors can see it.
Note: Visitors who reach a Draft page see your 404 page. Customize it to match your branding and language. Learn how to build a 404 page.
Change page visibility from the page list
From the Dashboard, click Website, then select Website Pages or Landing Pages.
Locate the page you want to publish or draft.
Click the visibility setting (Published or Draft) to the right of the page title.
Select Published or Draft from the dropdown menu.
Change page visibility in Edit details
From the Dashboard, click Website, then select Website Pages or Landing Pages.
Locate the page you want to publish or draft.
Open the more options (...) menu to the right of the page.
Select Edit details.
Under Page visibility (Landing Pages) or Status (Website Pages), select Published or Draft.
Click Save.
Note: System pages show a System label, and you can't change their status. A Landing Page that is set as your site's homepage can't be unpublished. To unpublish it, first choose another homepage in your site details settings.
Duplicate a page
Duplicating a page creates a copy with the original's template, page settings, and content, so you can keep your branding consistent without rebuilding a page from scratch. Use a duplicate to:
Create a uniform design across your website
Create pages for different languages
Turn a Funnel Page into a standalone Landing Page
From the Dashboard, click Website, then select Website Pages or Landing Pages.
Locate the page you want to duplicate. To duplicate a Funnel Page, select the Funnels tab first.
Open the more options (...) menu and select Duplicate.
The copy starts as a Draft. A duplicated Landing Page doesn't copy the original's URL slug, access password, or publish date. To change the copy's title or visibility, customize your page details.
Tell a duplicate from the original
A duplicated Website Page is named after the original with Copy and a number, such as About Copy 1. A duplicated Landing Page gets a number after the title, such as Sales page 1. Each additional duplicate increases the number.
Duplicate a page to a different page type
Website Page to Landing Page: Open the Website Page's more options (...) menu and select Add page to Landing. The Landing Page lets you customize or hide the Header and Footer, and your main site stays the same.
Funnel Page to Landing Page: Duplicate the Funnel Page. The copy appears in your list of standalone Landing Pages.
