Linking to a section of a page lets visitors jump straight to the part they came for instead of scrolling. You can do it with a Call to Action (CTA) button or with an anchor tag.
Use a CTA button to jump to a section of your page. Use an anchor tag to jump to a specific Text block, or to link to a section from a different page.
If your page uses the Premier legacy template, go to Link to a section in a Premier page, below.
Link to a section with a Call to Action
The Go to a section on this page button action sends visitors to another section of the page they are on. It lists only the sections of the page you are editing, so you cannot use it to link to an individual Text block or to a section on a different page. To do either, use an anchor tag instead.
From the Dashboard, open the Website tab, then click Website Pages or Landing Pages.
Select the Page you want to edit.
Click Customize.
Click Add Section.
Already have a section with buttons? Skip to step 6.
Select Call to Action to preview the section, then click Add.
Select the CTA button you want to edit.
In the Call to action menu, select Go to a section on this page under Button Action.
8. Choose the section you want to link to.

Link to a Text block with an anchor tag
An anchor tag marks a spot on your page, such as a Text block. Add the anchor name to the end of the page URL to send visitors to that spot. Because the link uses the full page URL, it also works from a different page.
Add an anchor tag to a Text block
From the Dashboard, open the Website tab, then click Website Pages or Landing Pages.
Select the Page you want to edit.
Click Customize.
Click into the Text block you want to link to.
Click the
<>icon in the Text Editor toolbar. At the very start of the code, add this anchor tag, replacing
anchor_tag_herewith your own name:<a name="anchor_tag_here"></a>
Click Save.
Choose a name that describes the section. Visitors can see the name in the URL when they click the link. Give each Text block its own unique anchor name.
Link a button to the anchor
Add # and your anchor name to the end of the page URL. For example, if your anchor tag is:
<a name="virtualclass"></a>
the URL to the anchor is https://yourdomain.com/your-page#virtualclass
Select the CTA button and open its action settings.
Under Button Action, select Go to a URL. Do not select Go to a section on this page.
Enter your page URL with the anchor name added to the end, such as
https://yourdomain.com/your-page#virtualclass
To link to more Text blocks, give each one its own anchor name and point each button to the matching URL.
Note: Anchor names are case sensitive.
If your anchor tag is <a name="VirtualClass"></a>, your URL must end in #VirtualClass, not #virtualclass. Match every capital and lowercase letter.
Link to a section in a Premier page
Premier is a legacy Kajabi website template. In a Premier page, add an anchor tag to a section's Heading block, then link to it from your Navigation Menu.
From the Dashboard, open the Website tab, then click Website Pages or Landing Pages.
Open the page editor for your Premier page. Learn how to open the Premier template editor.
In the section you want to link to, add this tag to the Heading block:
<a name="BOOTCAMP"></a>Kajabi Bootcamp
BOOTCAMPis the anchor name you add to the URL.Kajabi Bootcampis the heading text that shows on your page.
Note: This only works in the Title or Heading block of a section.
In your Navigation Menu, add the URL of the page that contains the anchor, followed by
#BOOTCAMPor the anchor name you chose. Match every capital and lowercase letter.
