A redirect sends visitors who open a page on your Kajabi site to a different URL. Use one when you retire a page, move content to another site, or want a link to land somewhere else.
Add a redirect with a Custom Code Block, or with the Code Editor on the Pro plan. If a page redirects when you don't expect it to, the Troubleshooting section covers the common causes.
Redirect a page with a Custom Code Block (recommended)
From the Dashboard, open Website, then Website Pages (or Landing Pages).
Open the page you want to redirect in the page editor.
Click Add Section in the sidebar.
Select Custom Code, then click Add.
Click the Custom Code Block.
In the Code field, enter this redirect code, replacing the example URL with your own:
<script>window.location.href = "https://www.example.com";</script>(replace with your URL)
Click Save.
Redirect a page with the Code Editor
The Code Editor requires the Pro plan.
From the Dashboard, open Website, then Website Pages (or Landing Pages).
Open the more options (...) menu next to the page, then select Modify code.
Open Snippets, then select global_head.liquid.
Inside the
<head>tags, add this redirect code, replacing the example URL with your own:<script>window.location.href = "https://www.example.com";</script>
Click Save.
Note: While a redirect is in place, you can't customize the page in the editor as usual. Remove the redirect code to edit the page again.
Troubleshooting
Turn off a Countdown block end action
A Countdown block can redirect visitors when its timer reaches zero. If visitors land on an unexpected page, check the Countdown's end action.
Kajabi ignores a Countdown end action when its URL is empty or matches the page the Countdown is on, so make sure the action points to the page you want.
To check your Home Page instead of a Landing Page, open Website Pages in step 1 and click Home in step 2.
From the Dashboard, open Website, then Landing Pages.
Click a Landing Page Title to open it in the editor.
Find any Event Countdown or Hero Countdown blocks in the page sections.
Click Countdown to open its settings:
5. Turn off Enable action, or remove the Countdown block:
6. Save your changes and test the page as a logged-out visitor.
Fix a Call-to-Action button that refreshes the page
If a Landing Page button refreshes the page instead of going to your URL, make sure it's a properly configured Call-to-Action (CTA) button.
From the Dashboard, open Website, then Landing Pages.
Click a Landing Page Title to open it in the editor.
Find the Call-to-Action section and click CTA:
Under Button action, select the correct destination:
Check that the URL or action is correct.
Save your changes and test the button.
Remove redirect code you added
A redirect script left on a page sends visitors away every time the page loads. Remove it from the place you added it.
Remove redirect code from a Custom Code Block
From the Dashboard, open Website, then Website Pages (or Landing Pages).
Open the page in the page editor and click its Custom Code Block.
In the Code field, delete the redirect script.
Click Save.
Remove redirect code from the Code Editor
From the Dashboard, open Website, then Website Pages (or Landing Pages).
Open the more options (...) menu next to the page, then select Modify code.

Inside the
<head>tags, delete the redirect script.Click Save.
