Get started with your community
Within Kajabi Communities, you can create Community Access Groups to build interactive, engaging communities with your customers.
The number of Community Access Groups you can create will depend on your Product Limit assigned by your Kajabi Plan (e.g., Basic Plans can create three Products whereas Growth Plans can create fifteen Products).
Use your Community Access Groups to create topics, organize groups of people, and assign access to your Community members.
Get started by first logging into your Kajabi account to create a Kajabi Community.
To create your first Kajabi Community:
- Open the Products tab from your Dashboard.
- Then, open Community.
- Click New Community.
- Add the name/title, description, and image for your Community.
Important Note: The title you choose here will be reflected in your Community URL by default. Changing the name of your Community will not automatically update the URL. You can, however, change your URL later if desired. - Then, add the name for your first Community Access Group.
- Select Free or Paid to create a free or paid Community.
Note: Your Community Access Group (Free or Paid) will automatically be attached to an Offer. Learn about Offers. - Then, click Save and Finish:
Customize and add your first members
There are many features to engage your customers within your Kajabi Community. Begin by customizing the circles, adding your first challenge, and setting a welcome message.
At this point, consider giving access to a select group of your customers. This group can help you decide how else you would like to utilize the community. You can even consider making them ambassadors to help manage the community and supercharge engagement.
To give your customers access, you first need to understand Offers on Kajabi.
Offers are the price tags and payment vehicles for your Products on Kajabi.
When you create a Community Access Group you are prompted to create a free or paid community. By selecting "free" or "paid" an Offer is created and connected to your Community Access Group to provide an access point for your customers to your Community.
Through your Offer, your customers can purchase or join your Community for free, depending on your setup.
