An ebook is a popular digital product you can sell on Kajabi without building a full Course. By pairing a Ghost Offer with an Automation, you can accept payment and deliver the file directly to each customer’s inbox.

Create a Ghost Offer

To sell an ebook or any resource or service that does not use a Kajabi Product, you will need to create a Ghost Offer. On Kajabi, a Ghost Offer is an Offer without a Kajabi-created digital Product included.
  1. Open the Sales tab from your Dashboard.
  2. Select + New Offer.
  3. Enter your Offer Title.
Important: Do not select a Product to add to the Offer.
  1. Select a Payment Type from the dropdown menu.
  2. Click Create.

Create an Automation

Create an Automation within your Offer to make sure your ebook is delivered promptly after purchase:
  1. Open the Sales tab from your Dashboard.
  2. Select your Offer.
  3. Locate the Automations section at the bottom of the page.
  4. Click + Add Automation.
  5. From the WHEN dropdown, select “Offer is purchased”.
  6. From the THEN dropdown, select “Send an email”.
  7. Ensure To the person is checked.
  1. Enter your email’s Subject and Body copy, including a line of text that will be used as a link (ex. “Download Now”).
  2. Highlight the line of text to be used as a link.
  3. Click the Upload File icon to add your ebook (as a pdf file) to the body of your email.
  4. Select your ebook from your file manager and click Open.
  5. Click Ok and Save.
