Affiliate Coupons let you give your affiliates a custom Coupon Code that they can share.

Any customer that uses an affiliate's personalized Coupon Code will be credited to that affiliate, regardless of the presence of a browser cookie.

As an administrator, you can create Discounts that will generate personalized Coupon Codes for each affiliate.

What is a Discount?

Discounts allow you to generate and enable personalized Coupon Codes for every Affiliate User.

Note: You can only have one active Discount at a time.

How your affiliates can use their Coupon Code

After creating an affiliate Discount, your affiliates can access and share their personalized Coupon Codes to encourage people to purchase from your site using one.

When the affiliate's personalized Coupon Code is used, they are credited for the transaction.

How to create an Affiliate Coupon

Open the Sales tab from your Dashboard.
Click Affiliates.
Select Settings.
Navigate to the Affiliate Coupon Codes section.
Click Create new discount.
Complete the discount details:
1. Enter your Discount title (An internal title that is not visible to your affiliates).
2. Under Coupon Discount, you can choose one of the following options:
  - Discount Percentage: Enter the percentage discount that affiliates will receive on Offers purchased using the coupon.
  - Amount Off: Set a fixed currency amount that the affiliate will earn for each Offer purchased with the coupon.
3. Select the Duration for how long the coupon will last once applied to a customer.
4. Be sure that Enable affiliate coupon codes is selected/enabled.
Click Create discount to keep and apply your changes:

Edit the personalized Coupon Code for individual affiliates:

Open the Sales tab from your Dashboard.
Click Affiliates.
Open My Affiliates.
Select the Name of the affiliate you wish to edit.
Navigate to Coupon Code.
Enter your desired Coupon code into the field.
Click Save to keep and apply your changes:

Affiliate Coupon FAQs

What happens if there is an Affiliate Cookie and an Affiliate Coupon present in a transaction?

The Affiliate Coupon will override the Affiliate Cookie. The use of a coupon is a more intentional act, so that is an expected result.

How many Coupon Codes can I have active at once?

Only one Discount at a time is allowed (that is available for all Affiliate Users).

How do I change the Discount once I’ve already created an Affiliate Coupon?

Discounts can not be edited, but you can create a new Discount whenever you’d like. Creating a new Discount will not change the personalized codes, it will simply apply the new discount. Discounts can also be "rerun" or repeated later on. We save all previously created Discounts.

Can an Affiliate Coupon be deleted?

At this time, Affiliate Coupons cannot be deleted. If no longer want to offer coupons, you would need to toggle Affiliate Coupons "off" from your Coupon Settings page.

Can I change an Affiliate User’s Discount without changing any others?

Affiliate Coupons will follow the Discount determined by the currently active one. These Discounts apply to all Affiliate Users. Discounts can’t be changed on an individual basis.

Can I change an affiliate's personalized Coupon Code?

You can change an Affiliate User’s personalized Coupon Code whenever you’d like, as long as the new code is not already taken.

Can I filter the Contacts tab by who has used the coupons?

You can filter your Contacts tab to view the people that have used an Affiliate Coupon generated by your Discount. The filter will show the Discount instead of the individual coupon. A separate Contacts tab filter in the future will likely be used to determine which customers came from which Affiliate Users.
