FAQs

Can I receive Status page updates but unsubscribe from Kajabi marketing emails?

Yes. Status page subscriptions and Kajabi marketing emails are completely separate systems. Subscribing to the Status page at status.kajabi.com does not add you to any marketing email list, and unsubscribing from Kajabi marketing emails does not affect your status notifications. You can safely opt out of all Kajabi marketing emails while continuing to receive real-time incident and maintenance alerts through the Status page. To manage your Kajabi marketing email preferences, visit Settings > Notifications & Privacy in your dashboard or click the unsubscribe link in any Kajabi marketing email. Learn more about unsubscribing from marketing emails.

Will I still receive billing and platform-specific notifications if I unsubscribe from marketing emails?

Yes. Transactional emails — including billing receipts, subscription confirmations, password resets, and account alerts — are sent regardless of your marketing email preferences. These are operational communications required for your account, not marketing. Status page notifications are also independent of your marketing subscription. Unsubscribing from marketing emails only stops promotional content.

How quickly will I be notified after an incident is reported?

Notifications are sent within moments of an incident being created or updated on the Status page. The exact delivery time depends on the notification method — email and webhook notifications are typically received within seconds, while SMS and Slack delivery may vary slightly based on carrier and network conditions.

Can I subscribe to updates for specific Kajabi components only?

The Status page subscription delivers updates for all monitored components. You cannot filter notifications by individual component through the Subscribe to Updates feature. If you need targeted alerts for specific services, consider using the webhook option to build a custom filter on your end.

Is there a cost to subscribe to Status page updates?

No. All Status page notification methods are free. If you subscribe via SMS, standard carrier messaging rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.

What types of events trigger a Status page notification?

You will receive a notification whenever:
  • An incident is reported (investigating, identified, monitoring, or resolved)
  • A scheduled maintenance window is created, updated, or completed
  • A component’s status changes (e.g., from operational to degraded performance)
