What is time reveal?

Time Reveal is a powerful tool to engage your page visitors. Setting up your Time Reveal Settings controls when your page visitors can see specific content on the page.

Time reveal settings

With your Time Reveal Settings, specify your desired trigger to reveal the Block or Section by setting up your Event, Offset, and Offset Units.

Event

Optional: Select an Event to reveal your content after the Event time. If no Event is selected, the Section will reveal based on page load. Learn to create an Event Keep in mind, it is not required to link a Time Reveal to an Event. However, the Offset is required to enable your Time Reveal Settings with or without an Event selected.

Offset

Enter your desired Offset value to specify the amount of time before your content Time Reveals. Depending on your Event selection (event selected or no event selected), the Offset will begin after the Event or after page load.
Note: If Offset is left blank, the content will always be visible.

Offset units

Specify your Offset value by seconds, minutes, hours, or days.

What is time reveal used for?

With just a few settings, create a variety of actions such as:
  • Revealing exclusive Offers after an Event.
  • Encouraging visitors to purchase or subscribe after the page loads.
Time Reveal Settings can be applied to any Section or Block on your page, giving you flexibility in how and when content is displayed to visitors.
Tip: Create a Call to Action after the conclusion of a Video Section. Add a Video Section set to Autoplay upon Page Load, then create a Call to Action Section directly below the Video Section to reveal after the Video finishes playing (e.g., If it’s a 20-second Video, offset your Call to Action Section by 21 seconds).

How to access your time reveal settings

Section time reveal settings

Access the Time Reveal settings for a Section of your page:
  1. From the Dashboard, click Website.
  2. Click the Pages tab.
  3. Open the page editor for your Page. Learn more
  4. In the sidebar panel, select the Section you want to edit.
  5. Scroll to the Section Settings and click Time Reveal.
  6. Optional: Select an Event.
  7. Enter your Offset value and select the Offset Units.
  8. Click Save to keep your changes:

Block time reveal settings

Access the Time Reveal settings for a Block on your page:
  1. From the Dashboard, click Website.
  2. Click the Pages tab.
  3. Open the page editor for your Page. Learn more
  4. Hover over the Block you want to customize and click Edit.
  5. In the sidebar, open Time Reveal under Block Settings.
  6. Optionally, Select an Event.
  7. Enter your Offset value and select the Offset Units.
  8. Click Save.

Troubleshoot time reveal not working

If your content is not appearing as expected after the Event time and offset, check the following:
  • Confirm the correct Event is selected. Open the Time Reveal settings for the Section or Block and verify the Event linked is the correct one. If no Event is selected, the offset will trigger from page load instead.
  • Check the Event time in Kajabi. The Time Reveal triggers based on the scheduled Event time set in Kajabi, not when the event actually ends in real life. If the Event time was changed after setting up Time Reveal, update the offset accordingly.
  • Check your offset value and units. Confirm the offset is set to the correct number and unit. For example, “1 day” requires the Offset value to be set to 1 and the Offset Units to be set to Days.
  • Clear your browser cache. Time Reveal visibility can be affected by cached page data. Try opening the page in an incognito window or clearing your browser cache to see the updated content.
  • Preview the page to test. Use the page preview to verify your Time Reveal settings before sharing the page with visitors.
