Access video stats on a Page

Measure your video asset’s performance and gain a better understanding of your audience and their response to your content.

  1. Open the Website tab from the Dashboard.
  2. Click Pages.
  3. Select the Page where you’ve uploaded your video asset.
  4. Open the Video Block containing your video asset.
  5. Click Video Actions in the sidebar.
  6. Then, select Video Stats.

Access video stats in a Course Lesson

Measure the performance of videos uploaded to your Course(s) to gain a better understanding of your customers and their engagement with your video content.
Note: If you no longer see Video Stats in the Video Actions dropdown, your data hasn’t disappeared — it’s moved. Go to Media Library, open the video asset, and use the Analytics card. Click View historical insights at the bottom of that card to see the same stats view (engagement chart and per-event play log) you used before, with historical data intact.

  1. Open the Products tab from the Dashboard.
  2. Click into your Course and select the Lesson with your uploaded video asset.
  3. Open the Video Actions dropdown.
  4. Select Video Stats.

Video stats definitions

After opening your Video Stats, you will see three main sections: summary stats, the engagement graph, and information for individual sessions. These three sections can help you better understand how your visitors engage with your video. The data can be used to improve your video content, how your content is displayed on the page, and the page context surrounding the video in order to boost your play rate and engagement.
