When you add a Section to a page, it appears at the bottom with a default name and settings. From the sidebar editor, you can rename, duplicate, hide, delete, and reorder Sections to build your page the way you want.

Rename Sections

Section titles are only visible to you in the editor — they never appear on the published page. Renaming Sections helps you stay organized, especially when working with multiple similar Sections.

Duplicate Sections

Duplicating a Section saves time when building out similar layouts on the same page or when creating separate versions optimized for mobile and desktop viewing.

Can I duplicate sections across various pages?

No. Duplicated Sections are added to the same page as the original. They appear at the bottom of the page, so you may need to rearrange them to get them where you want.

Hide Sections

Hiding a Section lets you build and customize content in advance without it going live on your page. Hidden Sections remain in the sidebar editor so you can access and unhide them whenever you’re ready.

Delete Sections

Deleting a Section permanently removes it and all of its content. Some Sections required for a page’s core functionality — like the Login Section on a Login page — cannot be deleted.
Important: Deleting a Section and saving cannot be undone. If you delete a Section by mistake, navigate away from the page before saving and confirm that you want to leave without saving. Note that any other unsaved changes made before the deletion will also be lost.

To rename, duplicate, hide, or delete a Section:

  1. Open the Website tab from the Dashboard.
  2. Select the Pages tab.
  3. Open the page editor for your page. Learn more
  4. In the sidebar editor, hover over the Section you want to edit.
  5. Click the ellipsis menu .
  6. Select your desired action from the dropdown.
  7. Click Save to apply your changes.
Tip: Accidentally click Delete when editing a Section? Before hitting that Save button, return to your list of pages and confirm your desire to leave without saving your changes. Keep in mind, if you’ve made changes prior to deletion, any unsaved changes will be lost.
