Account details control your name, email address, avatar, social profile, and API credentials. You can update these settings at any time from the Account Settings page.

Update account details

  1. From the Dashboard, click your Avatar in the upper-right corner to open the User Menu.
  2. Click Account Settings.

Details

Review and update the following information in your Account Settings:
  • Name: Your display name used across your Kajabi account.
  • Account ID: Your unique Kajabi account identifier.
  • Email: The email address used to log into your Kajabi account.
  • Affiliate PayPal email: The PayPal email address used to receive Kajabi Partner Program payouts.
  • Phone number: An optional phone number associated with your account.
  • Time zone: The time zone used for scheduling and notifications across your account.
  • Avatar: A profile image displayed in your Community and on pages with a User Menu section.

Email

The email address used to log into your Kajabi Account. Update your email in your account details to change the email associated with your Kajabi Account.
Note: If you receive an error that the email address has already been taken, it means that the email is already associated with another Kajabi account.Many email providers allow you to add a ”+” and any word or number to the email (such as example+kajabi@example.com), including Gmail, Outlook.com, and Yahoo. In this case, you will still receive email notifications at that email address. However, if your email provider doesn’t support this, you will need to enter a different email address.

Affiliate PayPal email

The Affiliate PayPal email is the destination for your Kajabi Partner Program payouts, including both Starter-tier bounties and recurring commission earned at your partner tier’s rate. Learn to become a Kajabi Partner for details.

Avatar

Your Avatar is the profile image associated with your Kajabi account. It appears in your Community when you post or comment, and on pages where a User Menu section has been added to the header. Customers logged into your site will see their own Avatar or a default placeholder image. Learn how customers can update their Avatar

Social profile

Your Social Profile displays publicly in your Communities when visitors hover over your Avatar. To update your Social Profile:
  1. From the Dashboard, click your Avatar in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click Account Settings.
  3. Scroll down to the Social Profile section.
  4. Update your Bio and Location.
  5. Click Save.

Appearance

In the Appearance section, you have the option to enable Dark mode for your Kajabi account. Enabling Dark mode will only update your admin interface; it will not update the interface for any of your Account Users.

API credentials

API Keys are used to integrate Kajabi with third-party applications. Your API Key and API Secret are commonly used with Zapier integrations. To locate your API credentials:
  1. From the Dashboard, click your Avatar in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click Account Settings.
  3. Scroll down to the API Credentials section.
  4. Copy your API Key and API Secret to use with your integration.
Warning: Do not share your API Key or API Secret publicly. Anyone with access to these credentials can interact with your Kajabi account via the API.
