If you are customizing your site with multiple browser tabs, your changes in one tab may not save properly in the other tab. For example, you may be customizing the same landing page or editing the same Course Product within two different browser tabs. This can result in various problems, from edits getting saved over to accidentally deleting content because when you are working on the same area in multiple tabs each tab needs to be reloaded before it shows the most recent changes. Even if a “Save” button is clicked in one tab, it cannot force a second tab to reload, so that second tab would not reflect the changes until it is refreshed manually. This can open you up to losing your edits if you are making changes with multiple browser tabs.

The solution

Stick to one tab on one web browser. By customizing your site on one browser tab, you can avoid losing your edits and design your site exactly as you envision.

The page editor does not autosave

The Kajabi page editor does not save your work automatically. Changes are only saved when you click the Save button. If you close the browser tab, navigate away, or your session expires before saving, your changes will be lost and cannot be recovered.
Tip: Save frequently as you work, especially before making large structural changes or switching between pages.

Changes saved but not appearing on the live site?

If you’ve clicked Save but the live version of your page still shows old content, the issue is usually browser or server caching — not a saving problem. See Sharing and debugging for steps to fix it.
