The Single-Use Coupon Automation is an Automation action that sends an email containing a single-use coupon code after your specified trigger occurs (e.g., An Offer is purchased, a Tag is added, a Form is added, a Course Lesson is completed, and more).

Single-Use Coupon Codes

Just as the name suggests, the single-use coupon code is only available for a single use. After your customer applies their single-use coupon code to their Offer purchase, the code can no longer be applied to future purchases. The single-use coupon code is generated from an existing Offer coupon and applies that coupon’s settings. Bulk and Cart coupons can’t be used with this automation. This is a great way to automatically send unique, single-use coupon codes after a specified trigger occurs.

Configure a Single-Use Coupon Automation

Create your single-use coupon code in the Automations tab (available with Growth and Pro plans) or the various editors in Kajabi (e.g., Offers, Funnels, Forms, etc.). Learn where to add an Automation
Note: As an Automation, a new single-use Coupon code is created for each contact who triggers the Automation. For example, if you want all customers of a specific Offer to receive a discount for another Offer, you can create this Automation to send a single-use coupon code after they purchase your specified Offer.

Create a single-use Coupon Automation in an Offer

The steps below use the original Automations experience, where you build the Automation in a panel at the bottom of the Editor. Learn which Automations experience you have
  1. Open the Sales tab from the Dashboard and then click Pricing.
  2. Select your desired Offer to customize.
  3. In the Offer Editor, navigate to Automations.
  4. Click + Add Automation.
  5. From the When dropdown menu, select Offer is purchased.
  6. From the Then dropdown menu, select Send a single-use coupon.
  7. Select the Coupon to generate single-use codes from.
  8. Customize the Automation email according to your brand and language.
  9. Click Save to keep and apply your changes.
Note: Automations can generate single-use codes from a Draft Coupon, but customers can’t redeem them until the coupon is Active. Check that the connected coupon is Active before your automation starts sending codes.
