Kajabi’s new Transcriptions & Translations tools are designed to make your content more accessible and help you reach audiences across the globe.

Transcriptions and Translations are here to make your video content better than ever. With Transcriptions and Translations, you can:

  • Automatically generate transcripts for any newly uploaded video.

  • Edit transcripts in our new interactive editor.

  • Instantly translate your transcription from 30+ source languages into 70+ languages.

  • Download and edit SRT files.

The Transcriptions and Translations features enable you to easily repurpose your content for global audiences, enhance accessibility, and make your courses, and marketing materials more engaging and inclusive.

Wistia currently supports 70+ languages for translation. To view the list of available languages, please visit Wistia's transcription languages page.


How to Use Transcriptions and Translations

  • First, upload a new video to a Course lesson, website editor, or anywhere else you'd like to use a video on Kajabi.

  • Once the video has finished uploading, click Video Actions - Closed Captions.

  • This opens the Translation Playground:

  • From the Transcription playground, you can use the Transcriptions tool to upload a transcription or generate a transcript:

  • Or use the Translations tool to translate your video to a different language once a transcription has been created:


Important Notes

  • Transcriptions and Translations are only available for newly uploaded videos during this testing period.

  • Transcription minutes and translation minutes are tracked separately.

  • Current Pro Plan limits include 3,000 minutes of transcription and 250 minutes of translation each month for new video uploads. Future limits may apply and are subject to change.
