If you’ve bundled your Course and Community into a single Offer, adding a sidebar link helps customers move seamlessly between the two products. This guide walks you through copying your Community URL and adding it as a custom block in your Course sidebar.

Copy your Community URL

  1. From your dashboard, select the Products tab.
  2. Select the Community tab.
  3. Click the Go to Community link next to your Community name. Your Community opens in a new browser tab.
  4. Navigate to the Community page you want to link.
  5. Copy the URL from your browser’s address bar.
  1. Return to the browser tab where you’re logged into Kajabi.
  2. Select Courses in the left sidebar, then click to open the Course where you want to add the link.
  3. Select the Customize tab.
  4. Hover over the course template image and select Customize.
  5. In the left sidebar of the template editor, click Product Sidebar.
  6. Select Add Content and choose Custom Block.
  7. Add information about your Community such as a title, image, and description. Update the CTA Text field to indicate that clicking the button leads to your Community.
  8. In the first CTA field, select Go to a URL. Paste the Community URL you copied into the second field.
  9. (Optional) Select the Open in New Window checkbox to open the URL in a new browser tab.
  10. Click Save.
Note: If you’re using the Momentum course template, select Dashboard Sidebar instead of Product Sidebar, click Add Content, then select Card as the content type.

Add a Course to a Community sidebar

Kajabi links a Community into a Course, but you can also point the other way. By adding your Course as a custom page, you give members a link to it from your Community’s left sidebar — handy for cross-selling other programs or sending members back to their lessons without leaving the Community. Because Kajabi lets you select a Product as the page source, you can point straight at your Course, no need to copy a link.

Add a Course as a custom page

  1. In your Community’s left sidebar, click the ellipsis icon beside the search bar.
  2. Click Create New, then select Custom Page.
  3. Enter a Name for the page.
  4. Set Source to Product, then select your Course from the dropdown below it.
  5. Toggle on Open link in new tab so the login-protected Course opens correctly.
  6. Set the Access Group that should see the page.
  7. Click Save.

Note: Who can see the custom page?Only members in the Access Group you assign to the page. Choose the group whose members should have access to that Course.
