Overview

Require customers to accept a Terms and conditions agreement before completing a purchase. A Terms and conditions agreement (also called a service agreement) requires customers to acknowledge your policies before they buy. Add one to any Offer to support legal compliance and set clear expectations upfront.

Add, edit, or remove terms and conditions

  1. Click Sales in the left sidebar.
  2. Click Pricing.
  3. Select the Offer you want to add terms and conditions to.
  4. Click the Settings tab.
  5. Scroll down to Customer account settings.
  6. Under Service agreement, select Default service agreement to use Kajabi’s standard terms and conditions text, select Custom to write your own, or select Not required to remove the agreement.
  7. To edit the wording of the Default service agreement, go to Settings > Checkout > Language overrides. See Customize checkout text with Language overrides for details.

Can a customer complete a purchase without accepting the agreement?

No. If Service agreement is set to Default service agreement or Custom, customers must accept it before they can complete checkout.

What’s the difference between the Default service agreement and a Custom agreement?

Default service agreement applies Kajabi’s standard terms and conditions text. Custom lets you write your own agreement, including linking out to terms hosted elsewhere.
