Overview
Your checkout page includes an email opt-in checkbox that allows customers to subscribe to your marketing emails when completing a purchase. This is a single opt-in, not a Double Opt-In. Checking this box subscribes the customer directly without a confirmation email being sent. You can customize this message to better reflect your brand voice and clearly communicate what customers are signing up for. Customizing this message helps you build trust with customers by being transparent about how their email will be used, while also ensuring compliance with email marketing regulations.Customize the email opt-in message

Best practices for email opt-in messages
- Be specific about what subscribers will receive, such as newsletters, promotions, or course updates. Vague language like “marketing emails” may reduce trust and opt-in rates.
- Keep it concise so customers understand the value without reading a lengthy paragraph. One to two sentences is usually enough.
- Mention frequency if you send emails regularly such as weekly tips or monthly updates. This sets expectations and reduces unsubscribes.
- Use plain language that matches your brand voice. Avoid legal jargon that may confuse or discourage customers from opting in
