A Setup fee lets you collect an upfront payment before a subscription cycle starts — giving new members access to your Offer while you earn from day one. Once the trial ends, subscribers are automatically charged the recurring price set in your Offer.

Configure a paid trial

  1. Open the Sales tab from your Dashboard.
  2. Select Pricing.
  3. Select the Offer you want to set up a trial period for.
  4. In the Offer editor, open the Pricing tab.
  5. Locate the Price Details section.
  6. Select Subscription for the Payment type.
  7. Enter your desired Payment amount for each recurring payment.
  8. In the Trial period days field, enter the number of days your trial period will last after purchase.
  9. In the Setup fee field, enter the payment amount you wish to charge for the trial: Sub Offer Paid Trial
  10. Your customers will be charged the Setup fee immediately and then all payments following the end of your trial period will be charged according to your specified subscription Payment amount.
Note: If you choose to keep the trial period blank, your customer will be charged the Setup fee + Payment Amount for the first subscription payment. Each subsequent payment will charge only the specified Payment Amount. To collect just the Setup fee for the first payment, enter your desired number of Trial period days — once the trial ends, recurring billing begins at the Payment Amount you set.
