Troubleshoot redirect issues on Kajabi Landing Pages

Identify and fix common redirect issues caused by Countdown blocks, button misconfigurations, or custom code.

Redirect issues on Kajabi Landing Pages commonly arise due to countdown blocks, button misconfigurations, or custom code. This guide outlines the key steps to identify and resolve such problems, ensuring a smooth user experience.

Common causes of redirect issues

Countdown blocks with redirect actions

Countdown blocks are a frequent cause of automatic redirections. If a countdown timer is set to redirect after reaching zero, it may send users to an unintended page. Here's how to check and fix it:

  1. From the Dashboard, open Website, then Landing Pages.

  2. Click a Landing Page Title to open it in the editor.

  3. Locate any Event Countdown or Hero Countdown blocks within the page sections.

  4. Click Countdown to open its settings:

  5. Toggle off Enable action or remove the Countdown block entirely:

Home Page countdown section redirects

If your Home Page is redirecting unexpectedly, verify whether the countdown section is triggering the issue:

  1. From the Dashboard, open Website, then Website Pages.

  2. Click Home to open it in the editor.

  3. Locate the Event Countdown or Hero Countdown block.

  4. Click Countdown to open its settings.

  5. Toggle off Enable action or remove the countdown block entirely.

  6. Save your changes and test the Home Page as a logged-out visitor.

Fix Call-to-Action button misconfigurations

If a Landing Page button refreshes the page instead of redirecting to the intended URL, ensure it's a properly configured Call-to-Action (CTA) button:

  1. From the Dashboard, open Website, then Landing Pages.

  2. Click a Landing Page Title to open it in the editor.

  3. Locate the Call-to-Action section and click CTA:

  4. Use the Button action setting to select the correct destination:

  5. Verify the URL or action is set correctly.

  6. Save and test the button behavior.
