How to Manage Subscriptions and Services After Canceling Your Kajabi Account

When you cancel your Kajabi account, there are essential steps you need to follow to manage active subscriptions and services effectively. Below, we outline the key considerations and actions:

Impact of Account Cancellation on Access and Services

  • Once your Kajabi account is fully canceled and your billing cycle ends, platform access, including features like email campaigns, ends. Active email campaigns automatically stop, and no further messages are sent.

  • Temporary account access is not available. To regain account access, you must reactivate your subscription. However, payment processing and customer subscription management can still proceed directly through your payment provider, such as Stripe or PayPal.

Managing Subscriptions with Third-Party Payment Providers

Active customer subscriptions managed outside Kajabi (e.g., Stripe or PayPal) are not automatically canceled when you terminate your Kajabi account. You must:

  1. Log in to your Stripe or PayPal account.

  2. Locate the active customer subscriptions linked to your Kajabi account.

  3. Manually pause or cancel each subscription to prevent further billing.

If you used Kajabi Payments to process subscriptions, these can be directly managed from your Kajabi account before cancellation.

Ensuring Full Billing Termination

To confirm that no unintended charges occur after canceling your Kajabi account:

  • Verify that your account cancellation is fully processed.

  • Cancel any active subscriptions associated with your customers within Stripe or PayPal.

Temporary Access and Refund Processing

Kajabi does not offer temporary account access once an account is canceled. However, refunds and active subscriptions can be managed directly through Stripe or PayPal without requiring access to your Kajabi account.
